Whatever brought you here, you are not the first person to arrive carrying it.
Steady in the storm.
It’s never too late to dream again. Let’s reclaim and restore your dream, after the business stalled, after the career flattened, after the plan you were counting on stopped working. What was missing was never you. It was a map.
Sessions are online, so where you live is not the question. Most of my clients are across Canada and the United States, and I hold early and late slots for the UK, Europe and East Africa. Fees are in Canadian dollars.
Start here
Life happens. It sure does happen.
You don’t need another motivational quote. You need someone in the room who will help you look at it honestly and then move.
The business closed and you still haven’t said it out loud to anyone who matters.
You’re good at your job. You’ve been quietly done with it for two years.
You rebuilt your whole life in a new country and your career didn’t come with you.
You have the idea. You’ve had the idea for three years. It’s still just an idea.
I’ve been in every one of those rooms. I’ve run businesses that stalled, businesses that never went anywhere at all, and businesses that worked and are still working. Looking back, the missing piece was almost never effort or talent. It was a map. Nobody handed me one. I built it the hard way, and it’s what I hand you now.
The Weather Log
Four stages of a comeback.
This is the map I didn’t have. Storms have a shape and so do restarts, and knowing which stage you’re standing in tells you what to work on now, what to leave alone until later, and when it’s safe to move.
Squall
Name the weather
Everything at once, nothing in order. Money, shame, and logistics all shouting in the same voice.
We get it out of your head and onto one page, then stop the bleeding. Cash, time, energy.
The Eye
Find the still part
Quiet, flat, suspicious of hope. This is where most people mistake numbness for peace and stall out.
We name your values, your non-negotiables, and what you are actually willing to risk this time.
The Break
Read the sky
The first real idea in months. Also the moment people bet everything on it far too early.
We test it small and cheap. Real evidence before you risk the house a second time.
Set the Mast
Build for the next one
Momentum arrives, and with it the fear of losing it again.
We build the rhythm, the money habits, and the support that hold when the next front rolls in.
Let’s reclaim and restore your dream.
Langston Hughes wrote a poem about deferred dreams, about what the waiting itself does to a person. I think about it constantly in this work, because the dream rarely disappears. It just changes shape while it waits, and people learn to talk about it only in the past tense. You can read Harlem in full at the Poetry Foundation.
My other practice is restorative justice: repairing harm and rebuilding relationships instead of assigning blame and moving on. Coaching, for me, is the same work turned inward. There is a relationship to repair between you and the thing you set out to do. We do that repair honestly, accountability without punishment, and then we get it moving again.

How we look at it
Six lenses, not one method.
Different weeks need different tools. I’ll tell you which lens we’re using and why, so you can use it on your own long after we finish.
Restorative
Repair, accountability, and self-forgiveness, including for the decisions that cost you.
Narrative
Change the story you tell about what happened, because that story is deciding what you try next.
Values-first
Decisions get faster when you know what you will not trade, no matter what it pays.
Small bets
Test the idea cheaply and quickly. Evidence beats confidence, and it costs far less.
Capacity
Pace built around your real life. Health, family, money, energy. Plans that ignore those fail.
Belonging
Rooms, networks, and allies. Doing it alone is not resilience, it’s just slower.
Ways to work together
Start small. Go as deep as you need.
Every option starts with the same free 20-minute call, so neither of us commits to a fit that isn’t there.
Single session
The Storm Session
For one decision you can’t stop circling.
Ninety focused minutes on the thing keeping you up. You leave with the decision framed, the next three moves written down, and a one-page summary from me.
Three months
The Comeback
For starting again after a loss or an ending.
Six sessions across three months, moving through the Weather Log at your pace. Includes between-session messaging and a written plan you keep.
Six months
The Build
For risking it again, properly this time.
Twelve sessions for founders and career-changers actively building. Strategy, accountability, and the honest conversations your friends are too kind to have with you.
Small group
Confidence in the Storm
For anyone who needs this to be affordable.
A six-week live cohort, capped small so everyone speaks, run online so the room is rarely all from one country. Same framework, shared with people who are in it too. Sliding scale and community seats available.
For organizations
Retained coaching for your people
Monthly coaching hours your team can actually book.
A block of confidential coaching hours each month for leaders, new managers, or employees navigating change, restructuring, or return-to-work. Pairs naturally with DEI and restorative work already underway, and gives staff somewhere to take what training surfaces. Quarterly themes report for you, full confidentiality for them.
Not sure which one? Book the call and I’ll tell you honestly, including if the answer is “not yet” or “not me.” If money is the only thing standing between you and starting, say so. I hold community seats each cohort and I would far rather you asked than assumed the answer was no.
Who you’d be working with
I’ve run businesses that stalled, and businesses that worked. I know the difference.
Some of mine stalled. Some never went anywhere at all. Others worked, and are still working. The difference was almost never the quality of the idea, and it was never how hard I worked. It was whether I knew which stage I was in. I’m here to give you that map.
Born in Kenya, building a life and a practice in Kamloops, BC, and working with people across North America and beyond. I know the specific weight of rebuilding somewhere that didn’t expect you, and I know what it costs to keep starting things without knowing which stage you’re in or what the next right move is. That’s the gap I coach into now, the one nobody sat me down and explained.
And then there’s this. At an age when I was told the window had closed, I stepped onto the Ms. North America stage as a delegate and went on to be named Ambassador for 2026. Pageantry was a dream I never once imagined I’d be pursuing in my thirties. I pursued it anyway. That is not a side note on my resume, it’s the entire argument I’m making to you.

Coaching is forward-looking work. It isn’t therapy, counselling, or crisis support. If what you’re carrying needs clinical care, I’ll help you find the right person for it. That’s a good use of a call too.
