About Sally
Sally Martin is a community builder, mental health advocate, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consultant based in Kamloops, BC. Born in Kenya and proudly representing Canada, she is the founder of the Valid Dreams Foundation and producer of the TELUS Optik TV documentary Black Light Unveiled – Choose Life, which tackles mental health and suicide awareness. Sally is also the host of the upcoming podcast Fierce Colorful Conversations, a platform for diverse voices in justice, culture, and healing. Through storytelling, pageantry, and purpose, she champions the message: “You’re never too old to dream again.”
